Hello,

My name is Veronika and I am delighted to be here with my book.

It took a while for me to get to this reality of having my own book in my hands…feeling it and handing it to my colleagues, students, friends, and family members and watching their reactions, their looks, observing their mimic muscles and waiting for…

To be honest, I am not sure for what I was waiting for….

I was delighted to see my first reader, an eight-year-old girl making a snake out of paper, after she read my book. The funny thing was that her interactions were purely intuitive. She interacted mostly with the images because English wasn’t her native language. I was speechless to see her making a house for the snake out of Lego whist making a connection with the snake in the book that inspired her creative pursuit.

I also had goosebumps when my friend said that the book is inviting her to continue, to participate and asking her to complete it, using her own, curious input.

I was amazed how easy it was for the children to dig in and to instantly befriend the book as a new friend, someone who listens and more importantly, somebody who allows them to be who they are, without expectations or judgements.

I am grateful for all the parents and educators who will see the value in buying my book. I am sure that my book will invite all the readers to re-enter and reread the book many times, helping them to discover a completely new, curious dimension of themselves. With that, they will be able to build a strong, curious foundation and they will become more confident and resilient in their lives.

I am sure that my book will spark the fire it needs to, in order for each reader to discover their true self…
